Written Inc has declared this "curves" week, so I chose a shot of Scara Brae, a 5000-year-old village with curved walls. It's rather Suessian, don't you think?
Originally, Dean, the town was built into a midden, so, yes, there were roofs. It was only revealed after a bad storm about 150 years ago, which is why it's so well-preserved still.
Would the roof have extended over the open parts? Either way, it's attractive.
