I do like your pick for this theme....I can just smell the inside...(those old trucks just have a certain smell to them...) usually pretty darn nice! It reminds me of my grandfather and his place in the desert in Arizona! Nice choice of building up the photo with a view of the wonderful mountains in the back ground too!
Being in the middle of the Great Salt Lake, I'm surprised the truck is still relatively in one piece! These old trucks always bring a smile to my face, because they remind me of my childhood summers, bouncing down a country dirt road with my uncle. :-)

ReplyDeleteWell, it's pretty hard to get a landscape shot in Utah without mountains..... so I'm not sure I can take much credit for that. :)
DeleteGreat one for "Past its prime!" That vehicle just seems to be sinking down into the earth. Bet it could tell some tales!
ReplyDeleteI thought the same as Gilly - if only that truck could talk! I bet it’s seen some service.
ReplyDeleteI want to restore that old truck! Nice picture.
ReplyDeleteYou don't have the room for another vehicle!
ReplyDeleteIt would have been even better if the fence had not been there. Great selection.
ReplyDeleteHmm.... I'm afraid I disagree. I think the fence matches the truck nicely. Plus, it puts the truck in context; this was a farm, after all.
DeleteA great shot of a lovely old workhorse. I bet it's covered a few miles.
ReplyDeleteLovely clear colours in this shot. Nice!
