Photo Non-Contest #169 -- Brick and Mortar

Okay, it's sandstone, not brick.  But it's functioning like brick.  And there is mortar in there.
I took this a few weeks ago because I liked the color of the sandstone against the sky (no color altering took place here).

Written Inc's theme this week is brick and mortar.  This is the closest I have for that.

    I actually can't remember what it's called, but it's one of those recreated buildings up at Old Deseret Village. I'll figure out the name of it the next time I'm up there.

    I always like buildings built of stone but then I come from a village where they have quarried for stone that has been used in many of England's buildings.
    The angle and the colour make this shot.

    I love the texture on the sandstone brick. Crop out the sky, and it looks like an aerial view of a desert.

    Very nice I too like the color conbination. I love it when I can capture a bright blue sky like that- very pretty
